Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Immaculate Lux LLC, a Michigan limited liability company (“we,” “us”), the maker of the Ranga app. By creating an account or using Ranga, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Ranga.

1.Who can use Ranga

You must be 17 or older to use Ranga. You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity on your account.

2.Ranga is a wellness app, not medical care

Ranga offers reflection, guided meditation, breathwork and journaling for general wellness. Your results describe the chakra system as a framework for reflection. They are not a diagnosis, and Ranga does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical or mental health condition.

  • Ranga is not a substitute for advice from a doctor, therapist or other qualified professional. Talk to one before starting any new practice if you have health concerns.
  • Breathwork: stop and breathe normally if you feel dizzy or lightheaded. Energizing breath practices are not suitable during pregnancy or for people with certain heart conditions; check with your doctor if you’re unsure.
  • Physical practices: never push through pain. Use a seated or supported version of any pose.
  • Never listen while driving or doing anything that needs your full attention.
  • If you are in crisis, call or text 988 in the US, or contact local emergency services. Ranga cannot respond to emergencies.

You use Ranga at your own risk and are responsible for your own wellbeing.

3.Subscriptions and payments

Some features may require a paid subscription. When subscriptions are offered:

  • Payments are handled by the App Store or Google Play, under their terms.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • If a free trial is offered, you’ll be charged when it ends unless you cancel before then.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies.
  • We’ll show you the price before you subscribe. If prices change, we’ll tell you in advance, and the change will apply from your next renewal.
  • During the beta, Ranga is free.

4.Your content

Your journal entries and answers belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only so we can provide Ranga to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete them at any time by deleting your account.

5.Our content

The Ranga app, its meditations, audio, scripts, illustrations, text and design belong to Immaculate Lux LLC or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use them in the app for your own non-commercial use. Please don’t copy, record, resell or redistribute them.

6.Acceptable use

Please don’t misuse Ranga. That includes trying to access other people’s accounts or data, interfering with or reverse engineering the app or our servers, using automated tools to access the service, or using Ranga for anything unlawful.

7.Beta features

Parts of Ranga may be labeled beta or test versions. They may change, contain errors or be removed, and we may ask for your feedback. If you share feedback, we may use it to improve Ranga without any obligation to you.

8.Ending your use

You can stop using Ranga and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we need to for legal or security reasons. We may also change or discontinue Ranga; if we discontinue it, we’ll try to give reasonable notice.

9.Disclaimers

Ranga is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise that Ranga will produce any particular result, or that it will always be available or error-free.

10.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Immaculate Lux LLC and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of Ranga. Our total liability for any claim relating to Ranga is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Ranga in the 12 months before the claim, or $50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

11.Indemnity

If you misuse Ranga or break these terms and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, to the extent the law allows.

12.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

13.App Store terms

If you downloaded Ranga from Apple’s App Store:

  • These terms are between you and Immaculate Lux LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Ranga or its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Ranga.
  • If Ranga fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. Apple has no other warranty obligation.
  • Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to Ranga, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet legal requirements, or consumer protection claims.
  • Apple is not responsible for any claim that Ranga infringes someone’s intellectual property.
  • You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo, and are not on any US government list of restricted parties.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

14.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we’ll let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Ranga after that means you accept the updated terms.
